Local woman found dead in country field

A body believed to be that of Sally Hingston, local resident in Gawcott, Buckinghamshire has been found dead in a field around 3 miles outside of the village.

Her naked body was found on Friday lunchtime after she had been reported missing the previous day when she did not return from one of her early morning walks.

The 67 year old lived on Hilsden Road in an apartment with her husband Reg. She was widely known around the village as she embarked on many walks around the surrounding villages.

A 25 year man named Benjamin Radojevich, also from Gawcott, has been charged with murder after being arrested on Friday, and will remain in police custody before appearing in court in Aylesbury on Monday. A police van has also been permanently placed outside the apartment where the two pensioners lived.

The post mortem revealed that the woman died from the result of a number of head injuries, but the police have yet to confirm that this in fact the body of Sally Hingston, who has not been seen since Friday morning.
